Young Negrense Actors Shine at Sine Negrense 2025 

BACOLOD CITY — A new generation of Negrense actors took center stage at the Sine Negrense Film Competition 2025, earning major acting honors and demonstrating the depth of talent emerging from the region's growing film industry.

Fourth Dillomes captured the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in Isa Ka Higayon, Jessiah Makilan received the Best Actor award for his lead performance in Pagdumdom and  Johnwine Janipin earned the Best Supporting Actor award in the film Maria.  

The achievements of Dillomes, Makilan, and Janipin signal a bright future for Negrense cinema. Their victories not only recognize individual excellence but also demonstrate how local film festivals continue to nurture and showcase homegrown talent.
